A stray bullet seriously injured a woman aboard a car along Marcos Highway in Pasig City on Thursday night.
The Pasig City Police Station identified the victim as Carolina dela Cruz. She was driving her car in front of s well-known mall in in Barangay De la Paz when the stray bullet hit her.
Witness Evangeline Domingo, who was aboard the car with the victim, said she just suddenly saw Dela Cruz’s neck bleeding. Later, she noticed a bullet hole from the car’s window.
Dela Cruz was immediately brought to the Marikina Valley Medical Center, where she was declared under critical condition.
Pasig police investigation on the incident is underway. /kga
