Robredo’s net worth falls by P7.8M due to Marcos poll protest

Vice President Leni Robredo’s declared net worth crashed to P1.11 million last year, as her debt grew to pay fees to counter the electoral protest filed by former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Robredo reported a net worth of P1.11 million in her statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) as of Dec. 31, 2017.

The Office of the Ombudsman released her SALN on the Inquirer’s request.

This was P7.76 million lower than her P8.88 million net worth as of Dec. 31, 2016.

She had a net worth of P11.05 million when she assumed the vice presidency in 2016. Vince F. Nonato
