Pasig City most wanted arrested

A fugitive man on the Pasig City Police’s most wanted list was finally arrested after months of hiding.

Ronald Russel C. Santos, who was accused of raping a 15-year old girl in 2016, fell in the hands of policemen on Monday night with a help of a concerned citizen.

According to a spot report, Santos was arrested by members of the Pasig City Police Station Intelligence Unit at around 10:15 p.m. at Barangay (village) San Miguel after a concerned citizen reported to the police about his presence in the area.

Authorities said he was in the neighborhood to visit his wife who gave birth last week.

Santos went into hiding last year.

Santos was arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest for three counts of rape issued by Judge Florian Gregory D. Abalajon of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 261 and 159.

He was brought to the Pasig City Police Station where he will be detained. /kga
