Barangay, SK polls peaceful and orderly in Boracay

MALAY, Aklan — The Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Election on Boracay Island was peaceful and orderly.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has designated an area outside the Caticlan Jetty Port where residents can confirm if they were on the active voters list and find their precincts. They then proceed to the island to cast their votes in their respective villages.

Comelec-Boracay said there were 22,000 registered voters on the island belonging to the Barangays Yapak, Balabag, ang Manoc-manoc. /ee
