Pasig fire kills 3 children

Three children were killed in a fire that destroyed two houses in Pasig City Monday morning.
The children, aged seven, two, and four year, were left sleeping inside their house on San Isidro Street, Centennial 2, Nagpayong 2, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, when the blaze started.
Initial investigation showed that the mother was boiling water when she left the house to buy pandesal. The house was reportedly on fire when she returned minutes later.
The fire started at 6:27 a.m and was declared fire out at 6:53 a.m.
Senior Fire Officer 4 Eduardo Rosales said the bodies of the three children were found during the clearing operation. /cbb
