The easterlies continue to be the dominant weather system in the country, the weather bureau said Monday.
Northern Luzon is being affected by the ridge of high pressure area, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Both weather systems are associated with the dry season.
The Bicol Region is expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said. /cbb
