Newly-installed Bureau of Corrections Chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa will use the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s (PDEA) extension office inside the New Bilibid Prison as his office.
In a message sent to Inquirer.net on Saturday, de la Rosa clarified that PDEA was not removed but relocated to a different area inside the national penitentiary.
The PDEA extension office sits adjacent to De la Rosa’s quarters.
Sources told Inquirer.net the de la Rosa “evicted” PDEA’s office from the facility.
“Not removal, transfer lang to another building within the compound kasi gagamitin ko na ang director’s quarters,” De la Rosa said.
PDEA will now hold office at the BuCor Reservation Support Services (BRSS). /atm
