A total of 2,738 out of 7,599 examinees passed the Civil Engineer licensure exams, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.
Renz Rodney Fernandez of Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City topped the licensure exam with a rating of 93.55 percent.
He was followed by Garret Patrick Baluyot and John Victor Lau, both graduates of Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila, with 93.25 percent and 93.05 percent ratings respectively.
Meanwhile, the De La Salle University-Manila was declared the top performing school with a passing percentage of 88.14 percent with 104 passers out of its 118 examinees.
The results of the examination were released four workings days after the last day of the examination.
The PRC said the registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificates of registration will be conducted from May 17 to June 5. The registration would be done online via www.prc.gov.ph.
It added that the date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the latest batch successful examinees would be announced later. /jpv
