Malolos Bishop Oliveros dead at 71

CITY OF MALOLOS – Bishop Jose Oliveros of the Malolos Diocese died on Friday morning (May 11) due to a lingering illness. He was 71.

Oliveros passed away at the Mary Immaculate Hospital in Malolos at 9 a.m.

Details of his ailment have not been released at press time. No statement from his family had been issued as of Friday afternoon.

Oliveros was the fourth bishop of Malolos, having assumed his post in 2004. CARMELA REYES-ESTROPE
