Bhakteenz raps PICPA in Wednesday Club hoop

TEAM Bhakteenz crushed PICPA, 85-76, over the weekend for its 2nd win in three games (2-1) in the ongoing elimination round of the Wednesday Club-2011 basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.

PICPA led in the first two quarters and posted its biggest advantage of 15 points, 49-34 at the half behind the combined efforts of Lito Ortiz, Ban Talaroc and Andre Tocao.

However, Bhakteenz unloaded a 27-13 rally in the third behind Rany Cabañero and Jobert Villaren to close the gap at, 61-62, going into the final quarter.

Then in the fourth, Bhakteenz outscored PICPA, 24-14 for the nine-point victory.

It was the second loss for PICPA for a 1-2 card.

Rany Cabañero and Jobert Villaren led Bhakteenz with 26 and 18 points, respectively, while Lito Ortiz and Ban Talaroc paced PICPA with 20 and 19 markers.
