2 motorcycle ‘thieves’ slain in Laguna shootout
SAN PEDRO CITY – Two men accused of stealing a motorcycle were killed in a shootout with the police in Cabuyao City in Laguna province early Wednesday.
The still unidentified suspects both died instantly around 4:30 a.m. inside Camella Bermuda Homes in Barangay (village) Banlic.
Prior to the shootout, a man identified as Erwin Sayno sought help from the police after the suspects reportedly stole his motorcycle, the police report said.

The police immediately dispatched a team to run after the suspects but they were reportedly fired upon. The police shot back and killed both men.
Recovered from the scene were a .45 caliber gun and an improvised shotgun, as well as Sayno’s motorcycle. MARICAR CINCO
