A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tremor hit around 1:29 p.m., east of Libagon town, a Phivolcs report showed.
The earthquake rocked Sogod, Southern Leyte at Intensity 4; Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte at Intensity 3; and Maasin City at Intensity 2.
No aftershocks or damage could be expected from the temblor, which had a depth of 2 kilometers, Phivolcs said. /kga
