Four people, one of them former starlet Katrina Santos, were arrested for drugs in Quezon City on Saturday.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that Santos was caught with a sachet of what was believed to be “shabu” (crystal meth) around 3 a.m. on Tagaytay Street near A. Bonifacio Avenue at Barangay San Jose.

A report to Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel, QCPD director, said that members of the La Loma police station were patrolling the area when they spotted two men and a woman acting suspiciously.

When the trio saw the police, they ran away in different directions but the woman, later identified as Santos, was cornered and arrested.

A sachet of suspected shabu was seized from the 29-year-old former member of the “Baywalk Bodies.”

Later that day, Cubao policemen also arrested a massage therapist and an electrical engineer during a drug bust at an apartelle on 12th Avenue in Barangay Socorro.

Venzon Cruz, 27, and Joselito Sandoval, 52, yielded 15 sachets of suspected shabu.

The same police team also arrested Holy Augilos, 47, in front of a restaurant on General McArthur Avenue after they received a tip that a woman known as “Yoly” was selling drugs in Cubao.

Seized from Augilos were eight sachets of shabu worth an estimated P17,500.

The suspects were charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
