ITCZ brings rain to Palawan, parts of Visayas and Mindanao – Pagasa
An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
The provinces of Palawan, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao will also have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its morning bulletin.
The weather system will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the regions of Visayas, Caraga, and SOCCKSARGEN.
Pagasa warns residents in the affected areas to be ready for possible flooding and flashfloods caused by moderate to heavy rain.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said. /muf
