Clouds and rain in Mindanao as rest of PH sweats

/ 09:00 AM May 02, 2018

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

Caraga, Davao region and the provinces of Sarangani, South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat will be the most affected by this weather system, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The rest of the country is affected by the easterlies or the warm winds blowing from the Pacific.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, Pagasa said. /cbb
