Oil companies announced an increase in the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and oil products on Labor Day, a Radyo Inquirer report said.
Oil giant Petron raised the price of LPG by P1.90 per kilo, corresponding to an additional P20 charge in 11-kilogram cylinder LPG tanks, effective Tuesday midnight. The company also raised the price of its auto LPG by P1.05 per kilo.
Petron and other oil companies — Pilipinas Shell, Phoenix Petroleum, Total, Flying V, PTT, Seaoil, Unioil, Eastern Petroleum, and Jetti — also implemented price increases of P0.70 per liter of diesel, P0.85 per liter of gasoline, and P0.70 per liter of kerosene effective on Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. With reports from Radyo Inquirer/ Donnabelle Dominguez-Cargullo /muf
