A 10-wheeler truck carrying drums of diesel rammed two tricycles, two sports utility vehicles, a closed van, a car, and a UV Express van, leaving thirteen persons injured, including an infant on Tuesday morning along the Manila East Road in Taytay, Rizal.
According to witnesses, the truck swerved to the opposite lane of the road after it allegedly went out of control. Residents were worried about the possibility of a fire because the truck contained flammable items.
As of 7 a.m., authorities have not cleared the vehicles involved in the accident from the area. /muf
