PAGADIAN CITY – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested five suspected drug pushers during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tuburan here, the agency reported Saturday.
PDEA Agent Brenda Joy Congreso identified the suspects as Rhonabelle Agua Taculoy; Ruel Himaya; Meriam Abastas; Juneily Clamor; and Manuel Eutiga.
Congreso said the buy-bust was conducted on Friday after confirming the activities of the suspects.
Seized during the operation were 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 12 grams valued at P35,000; a pack of aluminum foil, five disposable lighters, one improvised bamboo clip and P1,000 marked money.
Congreso said the five suspects were now under their custody and charges for violation of the anti-drugs law were being prepared against them.
