The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will hold another civil service exam on August 12, the CSC announced on Monday.

The application period for the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) will run until June 22, but may be closed at an earlier time once the regional and field offices of the CSC have reached the quota

“Those who weren’t able to take the March 18 conduct of the CSE-PPT Professional and Sub-professional levels may start submitting their application at the CSC Regional or Field Office where they intend to take the exam,” the agency said in an advisory.

“However, the CSC advises interested applicants to file their applications as early as possible as this is on a first-come, first-served basis,” it added.

Application requirements include filled-up application form, four passport size I.D. pictures taken not more than three months ago, and original and a photocopy of any valid identification card or document.

The CSC said that if the identification card has no indicated birth date, the applicant must submit an original and photocopy of his or her birth certificate issued by the government.

The examination fee for both professional and sub-professional levels is P500.

The examination is open to Filipino citizens who are at least 18 years old at the time of filing of application.               /kga
