The whole country is likely to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, the state weather bureau said on Monday.
This was because a ridge of high pressure area is affecting Northern Luzon while the easterlies is affecting the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Both weather systems, according to Pagasa, were responsible for the warm weather in the country.
Metro Manila is expected to have a temperature of between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius while Cagayan is could possibly have a temperature of between 25 and 37 degrees Celsius, said weather specialist Meno Mendoza. /kga
