A 50-year-old woman was found hanging with a plastic straw looped around her neck in Pasig City on Friday morning.
Eastern Police Distirct director Chief Supt. Reynaldo Biay said Vicky Iglesia, a resident of Barangay Dela Paz, was found dead by her housemate Vangie Sandoval who had just come from work around 12: 45 p.m.
Sandoval told probers the straw was tied to the doorknob hole. The Pasig City Emergency Unit responded but Iglesia was already dead.—JODEE A. AGONCILLO AND LAWRENCE LLACER
