Cops bust 3 alleged drug pushers in Lucena

LUCENA CITY – Three alleged drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in this city early Friday.

Lucena anti-illegal drug operatives seized a total of 10 grams of crystal meth (shabu) worth P65,000 in the street market, Quezon police director Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento said in a report.

The report said the police team collared Erma Rodrigo, 25, and Jinalyn Amor Orlanda, 28, after the two sold shabu to a police agent in Barangay Dalahican around 12:30 a.m. The suspects yielded seven grams of shabu.

In a simultaneous operation in the same village, police also busted Francis Ace Arevalo Orlanda, 23, in another buy-bust. Authorities found three grams of shabu in his possession.

Police tagged the three as newly identified drug peddlers supplying meth to fishers, dock workers and tricycle drivers in the coastal village.
