Koko reveals initial list of PDP-Laban senatorial bets; TV reporter included

Television Reporter Jiggy Manicad was among the possible bets that the ruling PDP-Laban would field in the 2019 senatorial race, Senate President Aqulino “Koko” Pimentel III disclosed on Thursday.

Pimentel, president of the party, enumerated the initial list of PDP-Laban’s bets in a phone patch interview with Senate reporters.

Aside from Manicad, the list also included the names of five senators belonging to the majority bloc who are seeking re-election — Senators Grace Poe, Cynthia Villar, Nancy Binay, JV Ejercito, and Sonny Angara.

The line up also includes singer Freddie Aguilar, Special Assistant to the President Secretary Bong Go, and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, among others.                        /kga
