Truck kills 2 in road mishap along TPLEX

Two men fixing a broken vehicle on the side of the road were killed after they were accidentally run over by a truck along Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) on Tuesday.
The two victims, who remain unidentified as of posting time, were changing the tire of their vehicle along the highway when the truck accidentally hit them, Toll Regulatory Board spokesperson Julius Corpus said in a text message to the media.

The accident happened at around noon along the expressway’s northbound lane.
The authorities investigating the incident are in the process of identifying the victims. /jpv
