Abra village official killed; wife, sister wounded in shooting

BAGUIO CITY – Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot and killed a village councilman, and wounded his sister and his wife, the incumbent village chair, on Sunday afternoon in Pidigan town in Abra province.

Kagawad Victor Pisco of Barangay Immuli was declared dead on arrival at a hospital at about 5:30 p.m., the Cordillera police said.

His wife, Immuli chair Elida Sales-Pisco, and sister, Myrna Pisco-Vasquez, are being treated in a hospital in Abra.
