Jealous man kills 2 sons
In a fit of jealousy, a man stabbed dead his two sons at their house on Pangilinan Street, Barangay New Lower Bicutan in Taguig City, on Saturday.
Jivo Nacion, 13, and Lance, 6, were found dead in their beds around 10 a.m. after their father, Ariston, 42, was shot dead by a policeman who responded to a concerned citizen’s call for help. The young boys’ bodies bore multiple stab wounds.
Investigators were eyeing jealousy as the main motive for the killings, according to a report submitted to Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr., Southern Police District director.
Supt. Clarence Gomeyac, assistant chief for operations of the Taguig police, said that before he killed his children, Ariston had called up his wife in Hong Kong where she was working.
After accusing her of having an affair with another man, he reportedly demanded that she come home.
“He threatened to kill their children if she would not [do so],” Gomeyac said.

A fan knife was recovered from Ariston, along with a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth). Some neighbors told the police that he was a drug user but this was denied by his relatives.
