Scattered clouds on Sunday, Pagasa says

Caraga and Davao region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, the weather bureau said Sunday morning.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

Pagasa said light to moderate east-southeast winds would blow over northern Luzon. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate in the area.

The rest of the country, it added, would experience light to moderate east-northeast winds, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

At 6 a.m. on Saturday, the country’s temperature dropped to 24.5 degrees Celsius, but rose to 35 degrees Celsius at 1 p.m.

Saturday’s relative humidity was also recorded at 84 percent at 6 a.m., and at 40 percent at 1 p.m. /cbb
