Malacañang assured the public on Thursday that the Duterte administration would “work double” time to bring “sustained and inclusive growth” to Filipinos as it welcomed the “very good” net satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Duterte in a latest survey.

“We are pleased with the latest Social Weather Stations survey showing President Rodrigo Roa Duterte a “very good” net satisfaction rating of +56,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement.

In a first quarter SWS survey conducted from March 23 to 27, 2018, about 70 percent of Filipinos say they are “satisfied” with the President’s performance, 14 percent say they are “dissatisfied,” and 17 percent were “undecided.”

President Duterte maintained a “very good” rating in Classes A,B,C and D but his rating among class E went down by 17 points from his December 2017 rating, which was earlier classified as “good.”

The President also suffered an 11-point satisfaction decline in Balance Luzon from +50 in December 2017 to +39 in March 2018.

He, however, got an “excellent” rating in Mindanao, which even rose by 2 points from +80 in December 2017 to +82 in March 2018.

His rating in the Visayas was at “very good” at +65.

The President also got “very good” rating in all educational levels.

“Public confidence, as we can see, has remained high notwithstanding matters and concerns the government is handling. We are thus grateful for our people’s vote of confidence,” Roque said.

“This would further inspire the President, along with the members of his Cabinet, to work double time in bringing the fruits of sustained and inclusive growth to the poorest and marginalized sectors while ensuring our communities remain safe and secure from drugs, crime and terrorism,” he added. /jpv
