Rap artist Zaito arrested for illegal drugs

Fliptop rap battle artist Zaito, who rendered the voice talent behind the “Oplan Tokhang” campaign jingle of the police, was arrested on Tuesday in Cavite for illegal possession of drugs.

By virtue of a search warrant, Cavite policemen searched the house of Zaito in Kawit, Cavite and found three sachets of suspected shabu, according to a report of GMA News’ Unang Balita.

With the seized illegal drugs, Zaito, whose real name is Predo Canon Jr., was arrested for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The police said the sachets of suspected shabu confiscated from the rap artist will be subjected to laboratory analysis.
