Easterlies, cold front affecting Luzon

The eastern section of the country will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to two weather systems, the weather bureau said Tuesday.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon are affected by the tail-end of a cold front on the eastern part of Central Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and Caraga are affected by the easterlies on the eastern section of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Easterlies are warm winds blowing from the Pacific.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms. /cbb
