Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over parts of Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday afternoon.

In a weather bulletin issued at 4:00 p.m., Pagasa said the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon and Camarines Norte were being affected by the tail-end of a cold front.

The state weather bureau warned residents in these provinces of possible flooding or landslides due to light to moderate, and at times, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said. /je
