CITY OF ILAGAN—A 3.9-magnitude earthquake rocked Divilacan, a coastal town in Isabela province, at 8:30 p.m. on Good Friday (March 30).
The quake, recorded as tectonic in origin by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), was located 34 kilometers deep and had a 17-kilometer radius, northeast of Divilacan.
The tremor was also felt in Ilagan City, surprising resident.
No one was reported hurt but seismologists have cautioned residents about possible aftershocks. /jpv
