The whole country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain on Good Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Meanwhile, the trough of Severe Tropical Storm “Caloy” (international name: Jelawat) will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Catanduanes, and Sorsogon, according to the state weather bureau.
But weather forecaster Chris Perez notd that the storm, which is already outside the Philippine area of responsibility, has no direct effect towards the country.
Caloy was last spotted 1,300 kilometers east northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. /kga
