DAVAO CITY – President Duterte on Maundy Thursday evening went out of his house here to attend the 5th birthday celebration of his grandchild, Stingray.
Stingray, whose formal name is Mateo Lucas, is the second son of Mayor Sara Duterte and her husband, lawyer Manases Carpio.
Stingray’s birthday celebration, attended by other members of the Duterte and Carpio families and family friends and their children, was the President’s first public appearance here this week.
President Duterte also sang “Ikaw” as Sara’s daughter, Mikaila Maria or Sharky, hugged him.
