Visita Iglesia is a pious religious exercise done by Christians on the evening of Holy Thursday, right after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. Traditionally, seven churches are visited by “pilgrims” to revere and pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the Altar of Repose.
