Expect cloudy skies, rains—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — An intertropical convergence zone in Mindanao and a diffused tail-end of a cold front in extreme Northern Luzon are seen to bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said Monday.
The eastern section of Extreme Northern Luzon, Palawan and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it also said.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, the state weather bureau said.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast with slight to moderate seas, it added.
