Half-day gov’t work on Holy Wednesday, March 28 – Palace

Classes in state colleges and universities, too

Half-day work for the people in government nationwide on Holy Wednesday, March 28, Malacañang announced Tuesday.

Communications Assistant Secretary Marie Rafael Banaag also said classes in state colleges and universities were also half-day on Wednesday.

“Work in government offices including government-owned and—control corporations and local government units, and classes in all public schools, state universities and colleges, are hereby  suspended on Wednesday, 28 March 2018 starting at 12.00 o’clock noon to enable government workers to prepare for the observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday,” Memorandum Circular No. 43 read.   /kga
