Joint agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local officials have arrested four members of a drug syndicate in Legazpi, Albay.
PDEA Director Aaron Aquino identified the suspects as Ricky Tripulca, Eduardo Espineda, Arturo Romero, and Fe Guinto, who were alleged members of Loveriza Drug Group in Albay.
PDEA’s report on Monday showed that 45 pieces of shabu, weighing 113 grams with a street value of P550 thousand, were seized from the suspects.
The suspects were arrested in their respective homes in Brgy. 28, Victory Village, Legazpi City, Albay on March 21 following the issuance of arrest warrants.
The operation was conducted by joint agents of PDEA Regional Office, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, Albay drug officials, and the National Bureau of Investigation.
Charges will be filed against the four suspects for violating Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Aquino said. /je
