DID YOU KNOW: DOH recorded 11,103 new HIV cases in 2017

In 2017, there were 11,103 new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases recorded nationwide, according to the Department of Health.

In December alone, there were 992 new HIV cases recorded, while for the whole year there were 497 reported deaths. —Marielle Medina
