/ 09:21 AM March 25, 2018

Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, the weather bureau said Sunday morning.

The northeast monsoon or amihan meanwhile will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley Region, Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

Pagasa said amihan would likewise bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain over Metro Manila and rest of Luzon, while the rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

The northern section of Northern Luzon and Eastern section of Southern Luzon, of the Visayas and of Mindanao will experience strong to gale winds, with rough to very rough coastal waters.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over the rest of the country, with moderate to rough coastal waters. /cbb
