The Philippine Coast Guard has recorded 82,161 passengers in all ports nationwide as traveling for the Holy Week in all ports nationwide, as of noon on Saturday, March 24, a day before the start of the Holy Week.
The highest number of outbound passengers was recorded in Southeastern Mindanao with 13,826. followed by Western Visayas with 13,788, Central Visayas with 11,736, and Southern Tagalog with 11,280 passengers.
The PGC also recorded the outbound passengers in other Coast Guard districts:
- Northern Mindanao: 5,969
- Bicol: 5,530
- Southwestern Mindanao: 5,240
- Southern Visayas: 5,114
- Palawan: 4,767
- National Capital Region: 2,105
- Eastern Visayas: 1,528
- Northwestern Luzon: 1,184
- Northeastern Luzon: 294
