PLARIDEL, BULACAN — Relatives and friends buried on Tuesday five family members who were killed on March 17, when a light plane crashed into their house in Barangay Lumang Bayan here.

The sealed coffins of Luisa Santos, 75, her daughter Rizza Santos-Dela Rosa, 46, and her grandchildren John Noel, 17, Timothy, 10, and Crizzia, 7, were taken to the St. James Parish Church before they were laid to rest at a public cemetery here.

Neighbors lined up to condole with Rizza’s husband, Noel dela Rosa, and their two other children, Leo, 20, and Cris Noel, Crizzia’s twin brother.

They were not home when the plane owned by charter group, Lite Air, plunged minutes after it took off from the Plaridel airport.

The crash also killed the pilot and his four passengers.

The investigation of the crash might take a month to complete, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. —Carmela Reyes-Estrope
