BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA—A senior high school student allegedly leapt to her death from a school building in Tuguegarao City on Tuesday morning (Mar. 20), police said.

The 17-year-old Grade 11 student of FL Vargas College supposedly jumped off the fourth floor of the school’s main building after completing the morning’s first class period.

In a recent Facebook post, the victim hinted she was going through turbulent times: “Nasa point na ako ng life na kahit gaano kashit yung nangyayari sakin, ngiti ko na lang palagi yung sagot ko sa mga tao (I have come to a point in life when I reply to everything with a smile despite the bad things happening to me).”
