A total of 2,648 out of 3,644 examinees passed the March 2018 Medical Technologist licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.
Alvin Aurelia Bahin of the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation topped the licensure exams after posting a 90.50 percent rating.
He was followed by Amabelle Son Marquez of Southwestern University with 90.40 percent and Chelseah Denise Hernandez Torres of University of the Philippines Manila with 90.30 percent, respectively.
Adventist University of the Philippines, meanwhile, placed first among top performing schools, posting a 100 percent passing rate with all its 81 examinees making the cut.
Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus also tied with Adventist in the first spot, also registering a 100 percent rating with all its 59 examinees passing the examination.
The national passing rate was recorded at 72.67 percent for this year’s examinations, the PRC said.

The PRC said the registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificates of registration will be conducted from March 26 to March 20. The registration would be done online via www.prc.gov.ph.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees would be announced later, the PRC said. /je
