The country will generally have cloudy skies with isolated rains for Saturday due to three weather systems, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Batanes would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought by the northeast monsoon or amihan.
The Samar provinces will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms but due to the easterlies, Pagasa said.
Pagasa has advised residents in Samar to be ready for possible flooding and landslides caused by moderate to heavy rain.
Metro Manila meanwhile and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms, the weather agency added. /muf
