Cops nab shabu, marijuana peddlers in Quezon province
LUCENA CITY–Two drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in Quezon province on Monday and Tuesday.
Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Chrisanto Geronimo Biazon, 38, after selling crystal meth (“shabu”) to an undercover police in Barangay Camohaguin, in Gumaca town around 10 a.m. Monday, said Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, Quezon police chief.
Biazon yielded 25 grams of shabu worth P162,500 in the street market.
Lawmen also confiscated from him a handgun and one hand grenade.
In Tayabas City, Exequiel Jan Libiran Castro, 22, was arrested after he sold a sachet of marijuana to a policeman acting as a buyer inside a subdivision in Barangay Isabang around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Confiscated from him were 27 grams of the “weeds” and digital weighing scale.
