DID YOU KNOW: Incidence of flu-like illnesses drop

According to the Department of Health, a total of 9,144 influenza-like illnesses were reported nationwide between Jan. 1 and Feb. 3.

The figure was 45.01 percent lower compared to the 16,629 cases reported during the same period last year.

Of the 9,144 cases so far this year, only four were confirmed cases: one in the National Capital Region, one in Calabarzon and two cases in Central Visayas. —Marielle Medina
