Have some “delicadeza.”

These were the words of lawyer Larry Gadon when asked on Monday for message for Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

Gadon wondered where Sereno was getting the courage to face her subordinates given the impeachment complaint filed against her.

(I hope she has “delicadeza” and shame and dignity for herself.)

(You are the head of the house but they’re making you leave. You are the head of the family but they’re pushing you away. Do you still have the face to meet them?)

Gadon added.

(You still go to your office even though you everyone is vomiting you out?)

Gadon then urged Sereno to step down from her position so she could take a rest.

I’m sure she is really bothered with this case,” he said.

(If I were her, I would just resign so that all this will end, so that we all won’t get tired and so that she can rest because I’m sure she is really bothered with this case.)

Sereno, meanwhile, stood firm that she would not file her resignation and would continue to fight for the judicial process. /je
