LUCENA CITY – Lawmen arrested a minor for possession of illegal drugs and seven alleged street-level pushers in buy-bust operations in Quezon province on Saturday, police reported.

Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, Quezon police director, said anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Honeylet Villalon, 26, and her partner Marilyn Martinez, 30, in an operation in Lucban town.

Meanwhile, Candelaria police nabbed Jomar Calderero, 24; Bernie Closa, 38; Jefferson De la Cruz, 33; Cesar Capanggada, 37, and Mario Macaraig, 39, in separate buy-bust operations.

The suspects yielded “shabu” with an estimated street price of P15,925.

Police also arrested a 17-year old boy in Mauban town as a suspected drug user.

The boy was caught with a sachet of shabu worth P100 after the police pacified a quarrel between street gangs composed of “children in conflict with the law.” /cbb
