Northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, the weather bureau said in its Sunday forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest Luzon will likewise experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain due to amihan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.
Mindanao and rest of the Visayas will have similar weather conditions due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa said strong to gale force winds from the northeast would blow over Northern Luzon, the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon and Northern and Eastern Samar, resulting in rough to very rough coastal waters.
Northeast winds will be moderate to strong over the rest of Luzon and of Visayas, resulting in moderate to rough coastal waters.
Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience light to moderate northeast wind and slight to moderate coastal waters, according to Pagasa. /cbb
